Medical
Electro-Spec is a supplier on many different types of medical components. From micro-electronic medical components, to implantable components to anti-microbial finishes, Electro-Spec is a partner in both new technologies and new product development with several of the world’s leading medical device and orthopedic companies.
We have the ability to meet many of the most stringent specifications in the medical industry, with indefinite traceability for all processes that we do.
Automotive
Electro-Spec has been a leading plating supplier to many of the world’s top Tier I and Tier II automotive companies. We have been involved in several new developments that have had significant benefits with regard to technology and cost reductions over previous applications. We have successfully converted many different methods and processes that have impacted Ford, GM and Chrysler on safety critical components. Electro-Spec is also an approved supplier of plating to Tier I and Tier II suppliers to Toyota. The components are used to ensure the functionality of the tow package for the Tundra, among other models.

RF/Microwave
Electro-Spec has been involved with the RF/Microwave industry for over 40 years. Starting as a plating supplier to “Specialty Connector Company” many years ago, Electro-Spec has had the privilege of being a supplier to many of the world’s leading telecommunication companies. Understanding the need for precision plating, exact tolerances, consistent/uniform plating coverage and non-magnetic finishes (PIM) is something that is built into all of our plating processes.
These processes are predicated on reducing RF loss, improving “skin effect”, and minimizing intermodulation interference to facilitate and improve signal transmission at all frequency levels.
Battery
Electro-Spec has worked closely in developing finishes that have allowed the world’s largest battery manufacturer to eliminate mercury from their button cell batteries, leading to significant cost savings, environmentally-friendly products and increased product longevity. Electro-Spec also supplies a variety of nickel plating to one of Boeing’s largest battery suppliers for critical electrical back-up systems for the 787 Dreamliner series.
Defense
Electro-Spec has had the privilege of being a critical supplier on some of the most complex projects for our Nation’s defense contractors. Providing plating for:

Nuclear
Electro-Spec provides critical nickel plating on a number of applications in nuclear fuel. Nickel plating straps that form the grids that hold fuel rods in nuclear power plants, Electro-Spec understands the importance of quality control and conformance in such critical environments.
